For me, one of the most meaningful traditions of the season is “Santa for Seniors” — a program that connects our community with local seniors who might otherwise spend the holidays without gifts, visitors, or family nearby. Through this initiative, we have the opportunity to spread kindness in the simplest, most powerful way: by reminding someone that they’re remembered and valued.

Each year, we gather wish lists from seniors in our community — sometimes it’s cozy blankets, slippers, puzzles, or treats they love. Volunteers and community members then pick a tag, shop for the items, and return the beautifully wrapped gifts in time for delivery before Christmas.
