This Thanksgiving feels extra special. I’m back home in Medicine Hat after an incredible 10 days “Down East,” exploring Fredericton and Halifax for the annual RE/MAX Activate Conference — and my heart is so full. 💙
The trip was everything I could have hoped for and more: inspiring sessions, new connections, and plenty of laughter shared with my RE/MAX family from across the country. Between learning, networking, and sightseeing, I absolutely fell in love with the East Coast charm — the people, the hospitality, and the energy were unmatched.
Halifax completely stole my heart with its amazing seafood, great drinks, endless laughter, and (finally!) the BeaverTail treat I’d been jonesing for all summer! 🦫 It was the perfect balance of professional growth and personal fun — and I can honestly say, I’ll definitely be back again.
Now that I’m home, it feels wonderful to trade ocean views for coulees and jump right into Thanksgiving weekend surrounded by my real family and friends — complete with turkey dinners, cozy gatherings, and a whole lot of gratitude. 🦃
This year, I’m thankful for travel that broadens my perspective, for my RE/MAX family who continue to inspire and support me, and for my amazing Medicine Hat community that makes this place truly feel like home.
